Buffy and Angel have made me cry more times than I remember. I sobbed on and off throughout the final Harry Potter chapters. I think this beat them all, even if it didn’t happen till the end. I was enjoying the episode like crazy and feeling the suspense, but I just couldn’t get over 'it’s the end' enough to sink in and feel the emotion. I felt so disappointed in *myself* for missing out on the scenes every one else was crying over. And then I figured out what was going on a few seconds before Jack and I burst into tears. Just all of a sudden, from nothing to full on shaking and tears and not being able to breathe. I loved every minute of it, both the episode and my reaction.
Strangely though, despite being with this show for years, I’m not feeling depressed in the way I often have been with others (Buffy, Angel, and The 4400). I’m happy for it and satisfied completely.
I’m still feeling shaky and it’s way too late for anything coherent, so I think I’ll just leave it at that for now.
I finished this picspam weeks ago and totally forgot about it. Not very epic as far as Final Lost Day picspams could go, but it’s all I have to offer for goodbye :-( *sob*

…rocked, though I think I had a better time last year. I didn’t spend nearly as much this year despite having a good amount put aside for it and we only stayed for a few hours. Anyway:

Also, apologies to the flist for being so nonexistent with comments and posting. I had a pretty bad anxiety attack a month or so ago and haven’t been in a great mood since then, though I’m feeling better now.

I saw this Angel ACEO on ebay a few weeks ago, fell in love, bought. It was pretty enough when it came that I feel the need to show it off (though the scanner is making some of the coloring appear off):
Also, I just checked the Motor City Comic Con guest list and… Dorian Gregory (Charmed) and Max Brooks (Zombie Survival Guide) are on it! So I’ve spent the last half hour bouncing around the house in excitement.
I don’t usually do New Year’s resolutions, but I was bored and wanted to see if I could actually come up with 100 things (I fail at having goals). I couldn’t.
They’re almost all really simple and specific because otherwise I would never even attempt to do them, plus I needed a lot. So far I've only got 71 and half of them are fandom-related. So, I’ll try to think of more, but if anyone wants to challenge me (*cough*convert me to your favorite TV show, pairing, etc.*cough*) with something fairly simple or fitting with the type of the things on the list, I’m totally willing to try it so that I can add more things and feel less pathetic :-D

I can't remember if I mentioned this yet or not, so if the Lost page is a repeat- sorry about that! :) Anyway, I've recently gotten back into scrapbooking and I decided to combine it with my love for fandom. Right now I'm working on the main pages for each fandom I've been a part of/had a great love for, but eventually I hope to make sub-pages, OTP pages, and character 'shrines'.

They're pretty simple (as they all will probably be), but I'm actually pleased with how they came out (the faded Dharma thing is a purposely-faded magazine cut-out, not a poorly done drawing). Now I have to figure out how I'm going to find picture material for: Firefly, Charmed, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, and The 4400. I figure BtVS and AtS shouldn't be too hard though, as they still get talked about in a lot of magazines.
*sigh* I used to read so much more, but now I just prefer serial television too much to really get into any other form of storytelling. Bold = really like/love.

I actually enjoy Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day. I love the anticipation and seeing my sister bouncing off the walls in excitement and going to my aunt’s house (although we aren’t doing that this year).
Anyway, my surrogate grandpa came over this morning and gave us all money (always cool) and my aunt was here tonight (she brought us presents too and I felt so guilty because she’s having tough financial times. But, I love the boots she gave me). My mom usually doesn’t cook on CE so we just had TV-dinner Chinese and Mexican (which is great by me!). It’s also my mom’s birthday so we did presents and cake. I watched Eloise At Christmastime and The Santa Clause. We always keep the TV turned to the 24-hour marathon of A Christmas Story once 8:00 comes around.
